At Te Paranui there is always something creative going on ! We use as many recycled and found materials as possible and are happy to receive donations of paints, textiles, yarns, timber and equipment for use by us and visiting Schools. We are currently Yarn Bombing our trees and fences as we crochet and knit colourful textural pieces (check out our FB page for photos !)

Artist and art teacher Caro della Porta has devised a Te Paranui Style Folder to guide projects using paint, driftwood and textiles over time that will show how Art can transform and enhance the landscape and living spaces. The things that we produce at Te Paranui stay at Te Paranui: the ideas and inspiration that evolve at Te Paranui are yours to take away.

We are open for school visits and groups of all ages, sharing our passion and knowledge for traditional and innovative creative expressions.

We are also very interested in inviting skilled practitioners to participate in our projects. If you are a sculptor, builder, weaver, muralist, photographer, painter ...
